Save Time With Laundry

Laundry can be stressful when you get to the point of no clean clothes. The stress si increased when you actually have to do the laundry. Here are some tips to make laundry day a little less messy:

1.) Don't fold undies, socks, etc.
Instead place them in baskets or drawers. I'd match up the brother and sister socks together but aside from that they really don't need to be wrinkle free and folded.

2.) Set Laundry Days
You should do laundry twice a week in my opinion. I like to do laundry once before the weekend starts and once after the weekend. This way I can have clean clothes systematically throughout the week. I like Tuesday and Thursday so always have something clean to wear.

3.) Start Late, Finish Early
Throw a load in before you go to bed and finish it in the morning. Not like you really have to be awake when doing your laundry so do it at the last minute

4.)Iron For The Week
Pull out the ironing board and put it in front of the tv. Iron your clothes you want and need for the week. Spending thirty minutes while watching your favorite program will get you ahead for the week if you do a lot of ironing in the mornings.

5.) Don't Let It Get Cold
Fold your clothes as soon as they come out. This will reduce the need to iron and the need to dry stuff "on-the-fly" when getting ready.

6.) Everything Has A Home
Store bath towels in the bathroom. Winter coats out of your closet, and in the hall closet.

7.) Give Everyone A Color
Give everyone in the house a different color clothes basket to easy the sorting or organizing the laundry to go to each room.

8.) Buy Whites
Buy only all white towels so they can easily be bleached. Buy only all white cotton underwear, t-shirts, and socks. They can all be washed and dried together in the same load.

9.)Have fewer clothes.
The fewer clothes you have, the fewer clothes you have to wash.

10.) Change Into Your Jammies
Change into pajamas at least an hour before bedtime so that you have enough energy to do more than throw your dirty clothes on the floor.

You can't let laundry pile up or it instantly becomes chaotic
