In nearly every aspect people are quick to grade your performance. As a child it was in the form of report cards and progress reports. On the job as you grew older upper management was always eager to have sit downs betweeen 360 evaluations and performance reviews. In your personal life take a tip from Tim Ferris, author of The Four Hour Workweek, and review your personal life with these seven questions. Personally, on Sunday which is sort of a down day for me I write out the answers to the some important and provoking questions as I prepare for the week to come.

  • 1. What will I try to improve on next week?
  • 2. What was I most proud of this week?
  • 3. What was my biggest accomplishment this week?
  • 4. What have I done to get closer to my life goals this week?
  • 5. What was hard for me this week, and why?
  • 6. What was my biggest waste of time this week?
  • 7. What did I do this week that made me ashamed?
